Kazakhstan can offer $500 mln treasury bonds in Russia in Mar-Apr
NUR-SULTAN, Feb 26 (PRIME) -- Kazakhstan plans to offer at least U.S. $500 million treasury bonds on the Russian market in March–April, Finance Minister Alikhan Smailov told reporters on Wednesday.
“We plan to enter the Russian market this year, we plan bonds for an equivalent of at least $500 million,” Smailov said.
According to the official, the Russian debt market is attractive due to low interest rates and a low currency risk.
